Bliss is a sampler that imports Akai S1000/S3000 ISO disk images and CUE sheets alongside SFZ, SoundFont2, NKI (Kontakt 1-4), EXS, and Renoise formats. It can sample VST and AU plugins to SFZ losslessly, and the standalone version can sample external hardware and any audio source via MIDI-triggered automatic sampling. Up to 64 voices, SINC 128 interpolation, scalable GUI, built-in wave editor, seven effects with 8x oversampling, macro presets, and full MIDI control. Bliss: What's New

    Overview

Bliss 3 is the successor to HighLife — same DNA, rewritten engine, broader format support, and a sampling pipeline that goes from VST hosting to MIDI-triggered hardware capture without leaving the plugin.

    Plugin and external sampling

Bliss hosts VST, VST3, and AU instruments directly and samples them at 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 96 kHz. The output goes straight into a multi-zone SFZ — the captured patch sounds like the source. Most plugins work; some don't.A few third-party plugins block offline sampling, use custom preset systems, or otherwise behave outside the host's contract. Try the trial version against the plugins you'll actually sample before buying.

Native OS file dialogs and a static processing buffer for the offline render. Captures range from a single note to a full velocity-layered keymap.

Standalone-only: automatic sampling captures from the audio input directly, no VST involved. Set a note range, choose 1–128 velocity layers, set duration and tail (so decays aren't cut), and Bliss MIDI-triggers the source and lays out the zones for you. For external synths, drum machines, and outboard.

Standalone-only: a one-shot recorder with a live scope. Record, Stop, done — the new zone lands on C4 in OneShot mode and opens in the sample editor.

    Visual Key Mapper

Piano-roll-style grid for editing zone key ranges, velocity ranges, and root keys.

Drag zone boundaries, drag the root-key indicator, sort by Root Note / Velocity / Name. The zone list and the Key Mapper share selection.

    Wave editor

Built-in editor with full undo, 1:1 zoom, and independent left / right / stereo selections.

Seven loop types (forward, bidirectional, backward, crossfade, plus Trim Loop). Cut, copy, paste, mix paste, trim, fades, normalize, and double-click selection that snaps to loop points.

Auto-slice to tempo, transient detection, and zone parameters that DAWs can automate.

    Performance engine

SIMD-optimized: AVX2 on Intel/AMD, NEON on Apple Silicon — about 2-4x throughput vs. the previous engine on heavy polyphony.

SINC 128 is the default interpolator (replacing B-Spline and SINC 32). For mastering passes, up to 512-point SINC is available with vectorized batch processing.

Mono / poly / legato with glide and auto-switch, plus 4-voice unison with detune.

    Sound Library

1 GB factory library, downloadable in-app for registered users.

Content auto-detects from the Instrument Library and Sample Library folders (with optional SFZ waveforms subfolders); the menu picks up newly installed libraries without restart.

    Dual filters

24 dB/oct dual-filter section: Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass (two variants), Notch, Peaking, or off. Cutoff, Resonance, and Drive are zipper-free.

Velocity and keyboard tracking are wired in by default.

    Modulation

Parameter Morphing for evolving sounds, 8 assignable macro knobs, independent envelopes for amp / mod / LFO / filter, and two syncable LFOs with configurable phase. Mod wheel, pitch bend, and CC routing are zipper-free.

    Effects

Rock Da Disco multiband + waveshaper limiter, plus a soft clipper for output level.

Stereo rotation, chorus, delay, and reverb with per-zone send levels. Pre/post slot takes a bit reducer, phaser, or distortion.

    Format support

Audio: WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, MP3. Sampler programs: Akai S1000/S3000 ISO, AKAI S5000-S6000, AKAI XPM (Keygroup), EXS, SFZ, SoundFont 2, NKI (Kontakt 1-4), Renoise Instruments, CUE sheet.

SFZ import/export covers ampeg_attack/decay/sustain/release with correct global-section placement. Multi-file open auto-maps drums and pitched zones.

Export: ZBP programs and ZBB banks (24-bit lossless FLAC inside), SFZ with extended opcodes, and 16/24-bit WAV with loop points preserved.

A one-time internet connection is required to activate the software license. After this, users can use the software offline.

The demo version may not output audio during offline rendering. Additionally, some functions, such as menu operations, parameter automation, and preset recall, may be disabled.
