Hello,

I'm very sorry to communicate that due lack of development and serious bugs without fixes, HighLife Open Source project has been cancelled.

HighLife v1.4 will be the replacement and will remain freeware.

Hello,

I can confirm it happens with R3 and it is a very serious bug, so after consideration we have cancelled Open Source development.

Please go to HighLife page and download version 1.4. Everything will work correctly.

Hi,
I've been using Highlife in MED sound studio which is version R1 and had no issues at all.
When I use R3 as a VST plugin in any music app and load in a sample, the first half of the sample loads on the first stereo track (top) and the end is on the bottom track which means it plays the 1st and 2nd part of the sample at the same time and distorts it.

Here's how it looks in the editor of both versions:

How can I prevent this?

Hello, thanks for your interest.

Regarding MIDI CC controls, they are fixed for now.

I think you could assign your own MIDI CC using Host Parameter Automation since all of them can be seen by the host.

Hi,

I am considering buying discovery, its a great piece of kit but there is one problem. Can you assign your own cc numbers to control the parameters within the program or will it only accept the preset cc numbers as highlighted in the edit mode. If you can change them, how as it doesnt say in the demo manual
