HighLife Mac 1.1 has been released.

HighLife is a sampler with editor, five built in effects, flexible modulation, parameter morphing and highest offline resampling quality using 512 point SINC. 64-bit Audio Units and VST are supported.

Audio Units validated.
Fixed and optimized drop-down menus.
Code optimizations.

discoDSP Discovery Pro R5.6 is now available for Mac.

Discovery Pro is a 12 oscillators Virtual Analog VSTi, Audio Units and RTAS Synthesizer featuring 4 layers, WAV and SoundFont (SF2) support, PADsynth resynthesis, 2X oversampling/undersampling, built-in arpeggiator, sync, FM, 12 filter types, panning modulation, stereo delay and gate effects, graphic envelope modulation. It also Imports and Exports Nord Lead 2 SysEx data.

What's new

OS X 64-bit VST.
Data folder moved to Documents > discoDSP > Discovery Pro with categorized folders.
EDIT > Reset > Program and Layer read the settings from Documents > discoDSP > Discovery Pro > Presets > Default.fxp file now.
EDIT > File > Import WAVE automatically places WAV files at discoDSP > Discovery Pro > Waves > User.dwb
EDIT > Reset > Program Undo will revert back to the original preset located on the current bank.
EDIT menu restyled to white text over black background.
Added Paste to All, A, B, C, D at Zone Preset drop down menu.
Enhanced Morph values. Tick values are show when synced to tempo.

Added 32 steps arpeggiator with MIDI out, 10 modes, 3 trigger types, 4 octaves range, velocity mix, bipolar swing, 13 clock sync types, editing and preset management. MIDI out is supported on VST plugins only.

Added EDIT > Settings > Tooltips.

Thanks. Now i got it right. The problem was that the midihosts (the wrappers) pitchbendingsetting overrules that of the highlife, so i had to turn that up to pitchbend with Highlife.

Hello,

Pitchbend and Modwheel should be automaticly linked. They usually can't be used for other purposes.

First of all i want to say thanks for the Highlife-sampler.
My problem is this: I want to link the pitchbend to the pitchbend of my keyboard, but it wont work. The same with the modwheel. All other controls can be linked, so i dont get it. I hope you can he me out on this?

This is a simple how-to for setting up an Ad-hoc network on your Mac and get very little latency when using KeyPad with TouchOSC.

1. Go to your menu bar, AirPort icon and select Create New Network...

2. We do not really need it to be password protected, but you can put one if you wish. We will name it TouchOSC.

3. Now on the iPad, make sure to disable Cellular Data if your model is 3G, and connect to TouchOSC WiFi network under Settings > WiFi.

4. Run TouchOSC, then load KeyPadMIDI file.

5. Make sure to run TouchOSC Bridge too. All messages will be sent to MIDI channel 1.

6. Have fun!

...and the sound is identical.

Only difference I found was with the filters. By applying some quick EQ to the discovery, I was able to match the sound to my Nord. Identical sound, with 10 seconds worth of EQ work.

Amazing VST.
